Therefore, the aim of the research is to analyze the crisis of social violence and its impact on the mental health of the nursing staff at the Martin Icaza Hospital during the period November 2023 - April 2024. The methodology used was quantitative, descriptive, and documentary, the sample used in the research is 85 members of the nursing staff who work at the Martin Icaza Hospital during the period November 2023 - April 2024. |

No hay investigaciones actuales sobre el impacto de la crisis de violencia social en Ecuador sobre el personal de salud, incluyendo el personal de enfermería. Los expertos en psicología y psiquiatría explican que la ansiedad es una reacción común a la violencia, percibida como nerviosismo por la incertidumbre que genera la inseguridad. Luego viene la hipervigilancia y los cambios de ánimo, como irritabilidad o depresión, a causa del estrés.
