Shrnutí:The purpose of this case study is a study about social networks, it is based on a descriptive study where the inductive, analytical method will be applied, also using statistical, documentary and field techniques for the collection of information, the line of The research it employs is information and communication systems, entrepreneurship and innovation, and the sub-line networks and intelligent software and hardware technologies. Social networks are structures formed on the Internet by people or organizations that connect based on common interests or values, through which relationships between individuals or companies are created quickly, without physical limits or hierarchies. We can also define them as sites and applications that operate at various levels, both personal and professional, but always allowing the exchange of information between people and/or companies. On the Internet, social networks have sparked discussions such as the lack of privacy, but they have also served as a means of calling for public demonstrations in protests, they have also created a form of relationship between companies and customers, opening paths for both interaction and the advertisement of products or services. The survey was carried out in the city of Babahoyo where 90 different people were chosen at random; The purpose of this survey is to know the impact of social networks in our society and the results allowed us to show that they are involved in the life of a large part of the population.
