Yhteenveto:SUMMARY The present investigation was related in the Parish of Cahuasqui, Canton Urcuqui, Province of Imbabura, whose theme was: Identification of the main damages caused by the Antracnosis disease in the cultivation of Granadilla (Passiflora ligularis Juss.), Whose obtetives were: Determine the ways of controlling anthracnose in the cultivation of passion fruit by producers in the Cahuasqui area; evaluate the damages caused by Anthracnose in the passion fruit cultivation; to know the type of management that the producers carry out in the cultivation of granadilla. The cultivation of passion fruit is attacked by several diseases but the most preponderant one is anthracnosis, with the purpose of making appropriate decisions to prevent and in the case of attack, using the best control methods. And a good management of the crop in the harvest and post harvest for its commercialization. The information was obtained by making a literature review to better understand the disease that attacks the crop and its control, also in the field a survey was applied to 12 producers in the area to strengthen the bibliographic information and know the actions in the field. From the information obtained in the field, 75% of the producers that sow this crop were determined by adding the sum of 2 to more than 3ha sowing passion fruit and only 25% sowing less than 2ha; the variety that is sown is the Colombian one for its properties as: good weight, color flavor, size, hardness of shell and its productivity, which is well appreciated in the market. The only control method is the application of chemical products, which depending on weather conditions farmers perform applications for 12 to 15 days, the doses of chemical products depend on the active ingredient ranging from 100 to 400cc./200ltro. tank.
