Resumo:The present research work carried out at the Barreiro Educational Unit has revealed a key challenge in administrative management: the lack of technological tools, specifically Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). This lack has been corroborated through an interview with administrative staff, and has been identified as a factor that negatively impacts the activities of the educational institution. To address this need and improve user service in general, the design of a training workshop focused on the use of ICT in Administrative Management is proposed. The main objective of this workshop is to empower administrative staff with the necessary knowledge to adapt to the current reality, where ICTs play a fundamental role in administrative management. The focus on ICT involves two essential dimensions: knowledge of how these technologies work and their effective application in the context of administrative management. This includes understanding the generation, storage, transformation, transmission and availability of information in various forms, such as texts, images and sounds, according to the needs of users. However, it is highlighted that this process requires effort and coordination on the part of the administrative team of the educational institution. Furthermore, it is emphasized that the preparation of appropriate materials and resources for administrative management can be a challenge, given that there are often no specific educational resources for this type of teaching.
