Ychwanegu Tag | Crynodeb: | The following clinical case is based on the study of a full-term newborn with a confirmed diagnosis of hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (HIE). The objective of this study is to create a care plan using the Nursing Care Process (PAE) in the patient, based on the description raised in the clinical history, laboratory tests performed, days of clinical evolution, identification of functional patterns. The research methodology is based on the Nursing Care Process (PAE) method, an instrument that allows the establishment of specific care to improve the quality of life and the reduction of complications of the disease that may affect the patient. The discoveries during the research process determine that the patient has difficulties in breathing, it is due to the use of invasive mechanical ventilation and subsequent care of the same by the nursing staff, in addition imaging examinations were carried out to diagnose sequelae of the pathology. The APPLIED PAE approved that through the care carried out by the nursing professional the patient can recover from neurological sequelae, since it was intervened correctly to reverse any neurological damage related to the disease. The study ends in which the use of the taxonomy NANDA, NOC and NIC, determine a favorable result. |
