Determinación de las enfermedades causadas por bacterias en el cultivo de tomate y sus alternativas de control, en el Sector de Chorlavi, Cantón Ibarra, Provincia de Imbabura

SUMMARY Diseases in the plants as product of attack of bacterium, have been a problem that has caused affectations in the production of the crops, significant losses to the farmers, stopping the community development and causing the migration of the persons to other places, so, it has been necessary to determine the reasons of dissemination of the pathogen in order to avoid a major spread and to obtain a better production of the cultures BY means of the formulation of a questionnaire and the interviews made to the local farmers, as also the work in field, which consisted of the direct observation of the crops, monitorings and diagnosiNG the diseases, they helped to determine the presence of the pathogen , resulting in bacterial spots caused by Xanthomonas, bacterial Canker produced by Corynebacterium michiganense, bacterial Withering product of assault of Pseudomonas Salanacearum, small bacterial spots caused by Pseudomonas, being of major incident the bacterial spots in leaves and fruits. An Integrated Managing of Plagues involves the trainings of farmers, on technologies that help to avoid the attacK of bacterium in the crops, where the climatic conditions, the monitoring of the manifestations of the plants, the control of undergrowths, utilization of certified resistant seeds to different pathogens, the use of organic and chemical fungicides with the due responsibility and other technologies perform a lot of importance for the improvement of the production, as also the incorporation to the topic of private entities and of government improve the agro.
