Fotografía periodística en los medios digitales. Caso crónicas de noviembre 2020, cantón Babahoyo

The general vision of this investigative work is to know the use of journalistic photography in digital media, as shown, and what is obtained through it. By means of the qualitative method, and the observation sheet, both favorable and contradictory results were obtained. Therefore, it is necessary to emphasize that it is of great help to continue working on future case studies, and this topic can be chosen as a background. The general objective was to compare different digital media through journalistic photography from the Babahoyo canton, in order to obtain ideas of how digital media works with photographs. It should be noted that we worked with three very important digital media, which will be mentioned below: Mi Babahoyo, Al Día, and Click Noticia. Where properly it was investigated and characteristics were compared, and evaluations were made in the aforementioned file. Great necessary results were obtained, which you must know and have knowledge of. Everything investigated leads us to realize the high value of photography as such, which by itself can inform facts without saying a single word. Journalistic, ethical and professional reasoning is also involved, it is reflected when publishing a photograph that implies a negative or positive message, the reality of what is currently experienced in these media is shown.
