Fourteen treatments and three repetitions were investigated. The objective of this investigation was to evaluate the agronomic behavior of two varieties of rice in front of the fertilization application to foliate with the help of Boron, with the purpose of determining the most influential product on the yield in front of the applied treatments. The siembra of rice was made with the varieties INIAP-14 and F-09 in parcels of 16 m2. The treatments were distributed in a design of divided parcels. For the evaluation of stockings the test was used from Tukey to 5 % significance. At the end of the cycle of the cultivation height of plants, plants number for m2 was evaluated, grains for panicle, longitude and number of panicle m2, days to flowering, days to crop, number of grains for panicle, weight 1000 seeds and yield for hectare. The results determined that the agronomic characteristics of plant height, plants number and panicle/m2, panicle longitude and grains for panicle presented good results applying the treatments interaccionando with the varieties. The biggest yield in the cultivation (6444,72 kg/ha) it was presented applying YaraVita Bortrac 1,0 L/ha in the variety INIAP-14. The Witness presented the lowest averages in all the studied variability. |

The Witness presented the lowest averages in all the studied variability.RESUMEN El trabajo se realizó en los terrenos de la granja experimental de la Facultad de Ciencias Agropecuarias de la Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo en el sector Palmar, ubicada en Km 7,5 de la vía Babahoyo-Montalvo. Se investigaron catorce tratamientos y tres repeticiones. El objetivo de esta investigación fue evaluar el comportamiento agronómico de dos variedades de arroz frente a la aplicación de fertilización foliar a base de Boro, con el fin de determinar el producto más influyente sobre el rendimiento frente a los tratamientos aplicados. La siembra de arroz se hizo con las variedades INIAP-14 y F-09 en parcelas de 16 m2. Los tratamientos se distribuyeron en un diseño de parcelas divididas. Para la evaluación de medias se utilizó la prueba de Tukey al 5 % de significancia. Al final del ciclo del cultivo se evaluó altura de plantas, número de macollos por m2, granos por panícula, longitud y número de panículas m2, días a floración, días a cosecha, número de granos por panícula, peso 1000 semillas y rendimiento por hectárea. Los resultados determinaron que las características agronómicas de altura de planta, número de macollos y panículas/m2, longitud de panícula y granos por panícula presentaron buenos resultados aplicando los tratamientos interaccionando con las variedades. El mayor rendimiento del cultivo (6444,72 kg/ha) se presentó aplicando YaraVita Bortrac 1,0 L/ha en la variedad INIAP-14.
