總結:The present case study is carried out in the Teodoro Alvarado Garaicoa Educational Unit, addressing the importance of determining the contribution of reading animation in students of the seventh year of basic general education, it is carried out demonstrating a significant study that the animation of reading is essential to improve children's academic performance. In the process, an indication is visualized that generates a problem located in the teaching methodology generated in the classes, seeking to improve the academic development of students, strengthening interest in reading as a teaching channel. The analytical deductive method is applied to the development of this research through processes that allow describing the problem, obtaining data for its respective analysis, established in the valuable information obtained, resulting in the incidences that the poor practice of reading affects the students, that is, the lack of interest in the general aptitudes of the children, the conclusions of the research work are based on the results obtained, of how the methodological strategies for the animation of reading are developed based on the recreational activities within the classrooms, according to the analysis obtained, inefficient methodologies are generated for the animation of reading, so there is little development and reasoning skills to achieve reading comprehension of a text, in basic general seventh year students.
