A quantitative approach was used, allowing access to the corresponding statistics and tabulations of the analysis. The total percentage from the responses of the surveyed students specifically allowed us to identify the trends in digital news coverage carried out in the Mira canton. This analysis generated correct information on how students perceive and interpret news information within their social circle. The results emphasized the importance of the digital information system and the need to improve information data on the different platforms where news is posted, in addition, students in the face of false information. Through this study, above all, we generate a solid basis for recommendations aimed at promoting a more committed consumption of digital information. |

Enfocándose principalmente en los estudiantes de tercero de bachillerato, durante el año 2024. Por lo cual se aplicaron encuestas con 10 preguntas cerradas en cinco planteles educativos del cantón mira, las cuales nos proporcionaron un total de respuestas adquiridas de 304 estudiantes. Se utilizo un enfoque cuantitativo, permitiendo acceder a las estadísticas y tabulaciones correspondientes del análisis. El porcentaje total a partir de las respuestas de los encuestados precisamente estudiantes permitió identificar las tendencias de la cobertura informativa digital que se realiza en el cantón mira. Este análisis genero información correcta de como los estudiantes perciben e interpretan la información noticiosa dentro de su círculo social. Los resultados enfatizaron la importancia del sistema informativo digital y la necesidad de mejorar los datos informativos en las diferentes plataformas donde se plasman las noticias, además, los estudiantes frente a las informaciones falsas.
