The case study carried out refers to a male patient, 1 year 4 months of age who goes to the emergency service, accompanied by his mother for presenting, irritability, agitation, cough with expectoration, temperature 38.4 ° C, meteorism , poor stools, low weight and growth retardation, as well as having a personal history of recurrent respiratory infections, pneumonia 6 months ago and gastroenteritis at one year of age; which has as a general objective to apply the Process of Nursing Care to the patient with Cystic Fibrosis to improve their quality of life and to treat or prevent their complications. The nursing assessment based on the functional patterns of Marjory Gordon allowed to identify the health problems that affect the patient and through the Nursing Care Process with the Nanda, Nic and Noc taxonomies, the nursing diagnoses, the interventions and results were established. useful to improve the quality of patient health care. |

Tiene un amplio abanico de manifestaciones clínicas, su diagnóstico se lo realiza principalmente a través del test de sudor que es el estándar de oro ante la sospecha clínica de esta patología, el tratamiento está dirigido a mejorar la calidad de vida y estado de salud del paciente mediante el tratamiento o prevención de las complicaciones, debido a que no tiene cura. El estudio de caso realizado se refiere a un paciente de sexo masculino, de 1 año 4 meses de edad que acude al servicio de emergencia, en compañía de su madre por presentar, irritabilidad, agitación, tos con expectoración, temperatura 38.4°C, meteorismo, deposiciones escasas, bajo peso y retardo en el crecimiento, además de presentar antecedentes personales de cuadros de infecciones respiratorias a repetición, neumonía hace 6 meses y gastroenteritis al año de edad; el cual tiene como objetivo general aplicar el Proceso de Atención de Enfermería al paciente con Fibrosis Quística para mejorar su calidad de vida y tratar o prevenir sus complicaciones.
