الملخص:The present work called competitive strategies in the "El Ahorro" commissary of the Montalvo canton begins with the approach of the problem that deals with the lack of application of strategies which influences the low level of sales of the premises, the application of competitive strategies is It is extremely important for organizations and it is that there is currently great rivalry between companies because one is more competitive than another and that is what it is about achieving a competitive advantage over the others because only then will they be able to achieve the desired success and lead the current market. For this reason, this case study aims to analyze the causes generated by the lack of application of competitive strategies in the "El Ahorro" commissary, therefore, to achieve this goal, theoretical sources and previous studies referring to each of the problems were used. analyzed in the present investigative work, in the same way several techniques were used to collect important information for the development of the case, such as interviews and surveys. Each of the problems that arise in the commissariat was studied and in terms of the applied methodology, the deductive method was used, the methodological approach and the statistical method with respect to the types of research, the qualitative method was applied because it was done use of direct observation of the phenomenon that is studied in turn, quantitative research was also used because statistical data was used, the techniques applied were surveys directed at the clients of the commissariat and the interview was conducted with the owner of the same , each one consisted of a questionnaire, this allowed to obtain results that contributed to issue the respective work conclusions.
