Summary:The Business Intelligence (BI) Tools arise as a solution to the need to analyze in a combined way the information related to the acquisition costs of raw material to generate reports with a greater depth of analysis and make strategic decisions focused on the acquisition of raw material, forecasting the reduction in costs in the company Distributor Touma of the city of Babahoyo. Additionally, it will allow the current administrator of the company to have a fairer income due to the sale of their products without intermediaries, generating a latent opportunity to improve their income and quality of life. As a solution to the problem described, a Business Intelligence tool is proposed that provides information on sales, expenses and costs, profitability and, based on historical information, the amount of break-even sales, which gives the opportunity to design strategies. to reach that value on time. With Business Intelligence (BI) tools, it is expected to transform the data to which we have access and that are key for the development of the analysis, to convert them into effective information, which has the opportunity to make decisions and increase performance, sustainability, competitiveness and profitability of the business.
