| Summary: | Adolescence is a stage where many physical and intellectual changes occur, therefore, it is necessary to provide the necessary information that will serve them in the future, starting with an important issue such as sexual relations. Having a lack of knowledge about contraceptive methods, unwanted pregnancies occur at an age in which the adolescent is not prepared physically or mentally, one of the main problems are the risk factors that can occur at this stage that can make them susceptible to suffer from other pathologies, such as preeclampsia. The main objective of the research project is to determine the risk factors in pregnant adolescents and their influence on the development of preeclampsia, the research was carried out in the Los Perales sector of the Babahoyo Province of Los Ríos canton. If the synthetic method already has a better understanding of the subject to reach a single conclusion, being a qualitative quantitative investigation, the instruments that obtain a database for the survey applied to adolescents. It was possible to show that the risk factors do influence the development of preeclampsia in pregnant adolescents, among them we have a family history, obesity, age, primigesta, etc. age, without any prevention, being prone to unwanted pregnancies. |
