Ajouter un tag | Résumé: | This study investigates the integration and impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on Ecuadorian journalism, drawing on surveys and interviews with industry professionals. The findings indicate a gradual adoption of AI by journalists, highlighting its role in enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and content creation. Nonetheless, significant challenges are identified, particularly regarding the need for specialized training in technical skills and ethical understanding of AI. Despite the apparent benefits, such as time-saving and improved data analysis, journalists maintain a cautiously optimistic view of the future, underscoring the importance of addressing ethical and training challenges for successful technology integration. This research emphasizes the need for a comprehensive approach that includes education, ethical standards, and best practices development, along with continuous reflection on journalism's role in the digital era. This ensures that AI adoption enriches the quality and integrity of the journalistic profession in Ecuador. |
