In pineapple cultivation, lower temperatures (<24 °C and higher temperatures (>30 °C) reduce the yield and quality of the fruit, representing a serious problem in areas where the different pineapple genetic materials are established. pineapple, intense luminosity significantly interferes with the processes of photosynthesis and transpiration, favoring the yield of the crop and the obtaining of attractive and higher quality fruits. The pineapple crop is not very resistant to prolonged strong winds, its intensity produces greater transpiration that carries to desiccation, and its leaves are easily damaged, where pathogens, especially fungi, can enter. Pineapple cultivation is most successful between 100 and 800 meters above sea level, since the temperature variation at this altitude is close to the Optimal for plant development, which is between 21°C and 27°C.
