Impacto de prácticas organizacionales requeridas en el control de infecciones aplicado por el personal de enfermería del Hospital Sagrado Corazón De Jesús, Cantón Quevedo, Primer Semestre Del 2018.

The purpose of this research project was to analyze the impact of the Required Organizations Practices in infection control of the Sagrado Corazón de Jesús Hospital in Quevedo canton at the nursing staff level, for this the inductive method and a field investigation were used. counting on instruments such as the questionnaire and an observation guide elaborated based on the variables to be studied; Based on the results obtained after its application, the level of knowledge that nurses had about Organizational Practices, their verification in the work area and the availability of resources they have to carry out personal hygiene standards was determined. Among the Practices that contribute to the control of Infections of Associated to Health Care are proper hand hygiene, timely administration of prophylactic antibiotics, safe injection practices and safe surgeries, aspects that were analyzed in the nursing staff, that despite have theoretical knowledge about the techniques and protocols to follow do not apply at the time of providing their services to patients, exposing the spread of pathogens and the appearance of infections. Therefore, it was demonstrated that the POR have a positive impact when applied correctly and help in the control of the IAAS, with this background, the training program aimed at the nurses was proposed to encourage daily practice and create a responsible conscience at the time of providing care services protecting the patient's health.
