| description | The purpose of this research project was to analyze the impact of the Required Organizations Practices in infection control of the Sagrado Corazón de Jesús Hospital in Quevedo canton at the nursing staff level, for this the inductive method and a field investigation were used. counting on instruments such as the questionnaire and an observation guide elaborated based on the variables to be studied; Based on the results obtained after its application, the level of knowledge that nurses had about Organizational Practices, their verification in the work area and the availability of resources they have to carry out personal hygiene standards was determined. Among the Practices that contribute to the control of Infections of Associated to Health Care are proper hand hygiene, timely administration of prophylactic antibiotics, safe injection practices and safe surgeries, aspects that were analyzed in the nursing staff, that despite have theoretical knowledge about the techniques and protocols to follow do not apply at the time of providing their services to patients, exposing the spread of pathogens and the appearance of infections. Therefore, it was demonstrated that the POR have a positive impact when applied correctly and help in the control of the IAAS, with this background, the training program aimed at the nurses was proposed to encourage daily practice and create a responsible conscience at the time of providing care services protecting the patient's health. |

Therefore, it was demonstrated that the POR have a positive impact when applied correctly and help in the control of the IAAS, with this background, the training program aimed at the nurses was proposed to encourage daily practice and create a responsible conscience at the time of providing care services protecting the patient's health.El presente proyecto de investigación tuvo como finalidad analizar el impacto de las Prácticas Organizaciones Requeridas en el control de infecciones del Hospital Sagrado Corazón de Jesús del cantón Quevedo a nivel del personal de enfermería, para esto se empleó el método inductivo y una investigación de campo, contando con instrumentos como el cuestionario y una guía de observación elaborados en base a las variables a estudiar; en base a los resultados obtenidos luego de su aplicación se determinó el nivel de conocimiento que las enfermeras tenían sobre las Prácticas Organizacionales, su verificación en el área de trabajo y la disponibilidad de recursos con los que cuentan para llevar a cabo normas de higiene personal. Dentro de las Prácticas que contribuyen al control de Infecciones de Asociadas a la Atención Sanitaria están la higiene adecuada de manos, administración oportuna de antibióticos profilácticos, prácticas seguras de inyección y cirugías seguras, aspectos que fueron analizados en el personal de enfermería, que pese a tener conocimiento teórico sobre las técnicas y protocolos a seguir no se aplican en el momento de brindar sus servicios a los pacientes, exponiendo a la propagación de agentes patógenos y aparecimiento de infecciones.
