Beskrivelse
Summary:Inventory management and internal control are of utmost importance for any company dedicated to distribution. The present study seeks to analyze and respond to the problem of the present topic chosen in AJE, a distribution company (Big Cola) in the Ventanas canton. There are irregularities in the inventory management and internal control system, where there are inconsistencies in their records, shortages of key products and excess of products in others, which affects profitability and even customer satisfaction. The objective of the study is to be able to analyze what are the deficiencies that exist in the inventory system that they manage, to propose strategic solutions to minimize the deficiencies that exist. The research to be used is with a mixed approach. The analysis to be carried out is carried out through research, using the deductive method and analysis to obtain information, carrying out surveys and analysis of accounting statements of inventory management. The poor control that exists in the distributor causes losses and increases the storage costs of certain products, with little efficiency in inventory management of up to 34%. Establishing a system that minimizes errors in inventory management would be a good option for the distributor. Periodic audits are recommended to ensure better internal control and better staff development.
