Riassunto:The archaeological remains of the Pre-Columbian Chorrera Culture were discovered in 1200 BC. and at 500 B.C. near the Babahoyo River, extending through several provinces. Its geographical eponymous site is in the current province of Los Ríos, where these tribes settled, in what is now the “Hacienda La Chorrera” Community the cultural historical past was called "Chorrera Culture". The objective of the case study is to preserve the archaeological remains of the Pre-Columbian cultures that are housed in the Babahoyo Canton Municipal Museum to promote the archaeological tourism of the canton. Although there is little archaeological information, limited supply of resources, affecting cultural development. Through the conservation of archaeological remains, it will be possible to promote archaeological tourism, gradually obtaining a development in the social, economic and cultural sector, in this way, publicizing the wealth of the Babahoyo Canton, giving a step to the rescue of cultural identity and cultural traditions
