Currently there are many methodologies that facilitate the management and development of research projects, education, software, etc. Many project managers prefer to use an agile approach over the traditional approach because it has important aspects like flexibility and transparency. This type of project creation method allows us to break our project into smaller, more manageable parts and have the product ready in no time. The research process in this case study was carried out effectively, using technical tools to collect data such as: surveys and interviews with the university community and teachers of the Technical University of Babahoyo, with the aim of obtaining information. relevant information that promotes research. As a result of the investigation, it was determined that, when using the traditional strategies proposed in the regulations for the development of Integrating Knowledge Projects, there are problems in participation and in the final result. For this reason, the applicability of an agile methodology such as SCRUM is favorable in the development of Knowledge Integrating Projects, in order to better organize and obtain the best possible result.
