Estudio de factibilidad para la gestión de inventarios de la Ferretería J.R. en la ciudad de Babahoyo

The current work was carried out at the "J.R." hardware store. It is located in Babahoyo, on Av. 5 Junio and Eloy Alfaro, it is dedicated to the retail sale of hardware products, he said that his business has remained at a normal level, the frequency of customer purchases has been kept the same. The products that are offered are moderate of a great variety of brands and models according to their needs because the hardware store was created according to the needs of the people. However, the problem in this business is that good inventory management is not implemented, the inventory is not well monitored and controlled in the hardware store, because there is no adequate organization of all these products, because it does not have an inventory system In addition, it does not have enough physical space to classify all products according to their category, which can lead to a decrease in sales. Techniques such as surveys and interviews were used, through which not only the necessary information can be collected, but also the support and authenticity of this work can be provided. By identifying the causes of mismanagement, a possible solution was unveiled that streamlines procedures and gives us an increase in hardware store productivity. In addition, it is beneficial to carry out this research because it is possible to know if the company has the necessary resources to implement this inventory control system in technical, operational and economic points, which will allow us to execute the established objectives. Obtaining as a result in each feasibility point its viability and the consent of the owner financing the costs for its development.
