Streszczenie:The present case study has as main objective to know how the self-concept influences the development of academic activities in a student of the Educational Unit "Puebloviejo", through the different techniques applied: observation, interviews and test, including the Beck test that It measures depression and the Mayo test that measures cognitive impairment or impairment, in order to demonstrate whether self-concept is the cause of the development of academic activities. A therapeutic scheme was made, introducing the findings presented by the patient, once the cognitive technique for the change of thoughts was chosen, there was a lot of collaboration and willingness to change, the different authors and sources of information served to instill in her, self-acceptance, and self-assessment, reinforcing positive thoughts about who he really is, and not falling back into what they will say about others.
