Being these two provinces of great economic potential and a mandatory crossing point to go to the different parts of the Ecuadorian territory crossing from the coast to the mountains or vice versa, in addition to having a variety of attractions that being exploited in an appropriate way would contribute positively to its economic growth.La creación de la ruta sostenible para deportes de aventura entre las provincias de Cotopaxi y Los Rios, busca la interacción de la economía y sostenibilidad de los sectores involucrados y por ende mejorar la calidad de vida de todos sus habitantes, para esto la investigación plantea la propuesta de crear la ruta para deportes de aventura, donde involucra a las autoridades municipales y administradores de establecimientos turísticos, debido a la exigencia de la población en generar nuevas fuentes de ingresos económicos y al desarrollo local de las zonas y así mejorar la calidad de vida de los habitantes. El presente proyecto de investigación se realizó a través de técnicas y métodos investigativos, lo cual parte de lo general a lo particular con el propósito de analizar y evaluar con naturaleza y a la vez ver el desempeño dentro del ámbito para mejorar la difusión turística.
