This research was born with the purpose of evaluating the use of an ERP system and propose the best alternative for its subsequent implementation in the company, in order to improve processes, integrate the information of the sales area, which aims to reduce the time in the various processes, provide greater storage capacity and optimize the resources of the company, to improve the profitability of the company. Nowadays, the advance of technology and globalization promotes that companies strategically manage their resources in such a way that they have the possibility to count on them in an efficient way. Inventory management belongs to the most cumbersome accounting processes because it is part of the supply chain and its management. As a final result, the implementation of an ERP system for inventory control was evaluated, where the environment of the current system was known and the functional requirements and feasibility study were carried out, which served to identify the technical resources needed by the company and the investment to be made to implement this project. After the results obtained from the economic feasibility study, it was determined that the implementation of this project does not require a large investment, since the company does have the necessary resources. This shows that the implementation of the ERP system is economically viable.
