সংক্ষিপ্ত:SUMMARY The experimental test was carried out on the premises of the Experimental Farm "San Pablo", Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of the Technical University of Babahoyo, located at kilometer 7.5 of the Babahoyo - Montalvo road, whose coordinates are 1 47'50.478 "Of latitude south and 79º29`0,5856" of longitude west, to an altitude of 8 msnm. The objectives were to evaluate the efficacy of plant hormone products in rice cultivation, to identify the most appropriate treatment and to analyze the treatments economically. As plant material in the present research was used the INIAP 16 rice variety, obtained and distributed by the National Autonomous Institute of Agricultural Research (INIAP). The treatments consisted of products based on plant hormones with their respective doses, such as Green Master at doses of 1.0 and 1.5 L / ha, Cytokin 1.5 and 2.0 L / ha, New Gibb 40 and 45 g plus an absolute control (no application). For the analysis of the results we used the Complete Batch Block Design, with seven treatments and three replications which gave a total of 21 experimental plots. For the difference comparison of the means the Tukey test was used at 5% probability. The experimental plots had dimensions of 3 x 6 m. The spacing between repetitions was 1 meter. The necessary agricultural work was carried out in rice cultivation for normal development, such as soil analysis, soil preparation, planting, application of plant hormones, irrigation, fertilization, weed control, phytosanitary control and harvesting. In order to estimate the effects of the treatments, the data of plant height at harvest, number of tillers / m2, number of panicles, days at flowering, physiological maturity, panicle length, grain per spike, weight of 1000 grains, Grain - straw, grain yield and economic analysis. From the above results, it was determined that the application of plant hormones obtained beneficial effects on the yield of rice cultivation in the Babahoyo area; In the variables plant height, number of tillers / m and panicles / m the highest averages were reached using Cytokin in doses of 2.0 L / ha; No significant differences were observed in days at flowering and ripening; The use of Cytokin in doses of 2.0 L / ha obtained better values in the variables panicle length, grain per spike and weight of 1000 grains and the higher yield as well as net profit was reported with Cytokin in doses of 2,0 L / Ha with 4678.0 kg / ha and $ 307.30.
