Ocular asthenopia, also known as visual fatigue, is a condition that develops due to the presence of various activities that are carried out in longer than appropriate times, especially where sharp vision is required, as is the case in computer management. According to the analysis, they indicate that visual disturbance is the most common problem among monitor users and seems to be increasing rapidly, since it is estimated that 90% of workers who use a computer for more than 3 hours a day experience visual disturbance, The most common symptoms related to digital eye strain include headache, blurred vision, dry eyes, and shoulder and neck pain. External symptoms such as burning, tearing, irritation, and dryness were found to be strongly associated with dry eyes. The optometrist must carry out pertinent, adequate, and orderly care that allows providing a definitive diagnosis and treatment can be applied to improve the quality and visual health of the patient. In this clinical case, it is based on a 35-year-old male patient who reports a symptomatic picture of blurred vision despite having optical correction which he uses, he also manifests feeling intense headaches, reddish coloration in the eyes, sensation of objects strangers, burning and dry eyes. In conclusion, according to the examinations and tests carried out on the 35-year-old patient, it is determined that he has a severe condition that makes vision difficult and disables being able to observe efficiently due to inefficient visual acuity.
