| Резюме: | The study analyzes the impact of price-demand elasticity on the profitability of the Agricultural Production Association 6 de Octubre (ASOPROAGROC) in the Vinces canton during 2023. The research reveals that the price-demand elasticity of the association's products is 1.4, which indicates that they are elastic. This means that consumers are highly sensitive to price variations, affecting the competitiveness and sustainability of the company in the market. The analysis shows that the lack of pricing strategies has led to deficiencies in profitability and demand management. If prices increase without a proper strategy, demand will decrease, negatively affecting revenue. On the other hand, reducing prices without optimizing costs is also not sustainable in the long term. To improve its competitiveness, ASOPROAGROC must implement differentiated pricing strategies based on market studies, optimize its production costs and diversify its offer with differentiated products. Customer loyalty and quality certification can reduce the elasticity of demand and generate financial stability. The study concludes that the company should avoid depending solely on price adjustments to improve its profitability. It is recommended to carry out periodic elasticity analyzes, improve operational efficiency and develop a commercial strategy based on differentiation and added value. These actions will allow ASOPROAGROC to achieve greater stability in its market and improve its long-term financial sustainability. |
