Add Tag | Summary: | The following scientific investigation and clinical case are focused on a 7-year-old pediatric patient who was diagnosed in the emergency area with gastroenteritis. However, my research emphasizes the causes and risk factors that lead a pediatric patient to suffer from gastroenteritis. Last but not least, as a health professional we must assess the patient with the respective reason for consultation and a thorough cephalocaudal assessment, in order to be able to match them to the patient's clinical picture and thus proceed to the elaboration of the nursing care process according to the dysfunctional patterns that are affecting and compromising the patient's health status. In order to develop a nursing care plan according to the needs required by the patient during their hospital stay. Adequate follow-up will also be provided regarding their evolution through treatment, the type of diet they should eat to improve their health condition, and the pertinent nursing care that will be applied through the use of the NANDA taxonomy (diagnoses), NIC (interventions) and NOC (results) in order to meet our objectives and goals proposed in this clinical case study. |
