| Summary: | Today, with the rise of technological advances, it is very common for organizations, public and private institutions and even Higher Education Institutions to make use of information technology to strengthen the processes of the different departmental areas, according to (Montilla , 2012) states that "technological advances in today's society are reflected in the abundance of communication or access elements, facilitators of the regular operations of human beings, including their civic, professional and domestic activity." The Faculty of Administration, Finance and Computer Science, Unit of observation of this case study, has three study programs, the Systems career, the Administration careers and the Audit career. Each of these races develops its own Annual Operational Plan (POA), the same ones that are integrated to form a single Annual Operational Plan of the Faculty. This POA of the faculty in turn is integrated with the other annual operational plans of the other faculties to form a single Annual Institutional Operational Plan, the same that must be aligned with the strategic planning of the Technical University of Babahoyo. In the Faculty of Administration, Finance and Informatics a problem related to the monitoring and control of the Annual Operative Plan has been detected, reason why it was opportune to make an interview to the coordinators of the commission of planning of each race and with the revision of the documents through direct observation could be obtained indicators that reveal the way in which these processes are carried out with their due bibliographical sustenance. |
