Etiketle | Özet: | Sexual violence is a problem that occurs frequently within the close family environment, it does not see economic, social status, age, religion or sex. The effects that come from this type of violence are not only physical, but also psychological, affecting those who have suffered from it and those who live with them. Depression is a state of mind that consists of deep sadness that has repercussions on the daily activities that the person develops in their daily life. There are various types of depression or depressive disorders. In this case study we will talk about a severe depressive episode according to the International Classification of Diseases in its tenth version of the World Health Organization, which consists of deep sadness, frequent crying, feelings of guilt, ideas or thoughts of death, low self-esteem, among others. Both direct and indirect victims can suffer from a depressive episode due to the damage, force, intimidation or threats that the abuser uses to control their victim. Through an appropriate psychotherapeutic process, the trauma and the symptoms associated with it can be worked on. |
