Measured the effect of several sources of substrates on reproduction and arrest of cuttings of cane bamboo (Guaduaangustifolia Kunth) in the area of Babahoyo. with the objective of identifying the best substrate and analyze economically the treatments. Treatments were made from soil + sawdust + fuzz (50-20-30%), sawdust (100%), fuzz of rice (100%), Soil + sand + manure (30-20 - 50%), Soil + sand + manure (50-20-30%), sawdust + fuzz (50-50%) and witness with agricultural soil (100%).
