| Riassunto: | This document deals with the study of the frequency of application of foliar fertilizer through the use of a plane in banana plantations (Musa AAA) in Ecuador, where it was determined that banana farmers are concentrated mainly in the provinces of El Oro, Guayas and Los Ríos, however, El Oro province is home to the majority of the small banana producers in the country, followed by the provinces of Guayas and Los Ríos; the application of fertilizers via foliar promotes an excellent response of the banana plant to its application, which together with the chemical fertilizer could allow the dose reduction of these fertilizers; for banana, nutrients are used, such as Zinc, applied via foliar, in the form of Zinc chelate; the use of fertilizers is a frequent practice in banana plantations, with applications by planes; aerial phytosanitary product application equipment in bananas is light aircraft, helicopter and drones; The planes can fumigate 80 hectares in 25 minutes and despite being several meters high, they cannot have good precision and do not spray all areas. To this must be added costs such as payments to pilots, maintenance and fuel costs that are carried out frequently in each ship and for many years, for spraying by air, the use of light aircraft is normal, with an application frequency of approximately 26 weeks or intervals every two weeks during the year with the use of foliar fertilizers |
