Assessing the nutritional status of these patients is fundamental to understand how nutrition influences the management of the disease. Objective: To determine the relationship between nutritional status and type II diabetes mellitus in older adults treated at the "El Salto" health center during the period from June to September 2024. Methodology: This research was descriptive, observational, correlational, cross-sectional with a quantitative approach. The research is based on scientific theories and the nutritional survey is validated by professionals in the field of Nutrition and Dietetics. Results: The sample consisted of 15 older adults attending the El Salto Health Center. |
