Sažetak:The Covid-19 pandemic has generated definitive changes in educational institutions, among them are public primary institutions that, not being prepared for the continuity of their face-to-face activities, were forced to migrate to the virtual method to continue with His teachings. In the city of Babahoyo, public education institutions had to embrace the new forms of teaching. Through the descriptive methodology, and the survey technique, it was determined that teaching in the online mode has had a negative impact on student learning, since most of them do not have the technological tools or the appropriate knowledge. to acquire good learning. According to the results obtained in this research, it is necessary to recommend that primary education institutions, especially public ones, promote online teaching once the pandemic ends, using technological tools and mechanisms that help them learn in the digital age, in order to develop your level of knowledge and be prepared for a similar situation in the future.
