Miêu tả
Tóm tắt:This research is entitled “Physiotherapeutic approach in patients with knee arthritis who attend the Babahoyo "Buen Vivir" Gerontological Center from June to September 2024, considering that knee arthritis is a chronic inflammatory disease of unknown origin characterized by symmetrical and peripheral polyarthritis. It is the most frequent type of chronic inflammatory arthritis and often causes joint damage and physical disability. It is a general (systemic) disorder and therefore RA can be accompanied by various extra-articular manifestations, such as fatigue, subcutaneous nodules, pulmonary involvement, pericarditis, peripheral neuropathy, vasculitis and hematological abnormalities, therefore the objective of the research is to determine the influence of the physiotherapeutic approach in patients with knee arthritis who come to the Babahoyo 'Buen Vivir' gerontological center. To comply with the same, a non-experimental cross-sectional methodological design was executed using the inductive method to collect detailed information through techniques such as observation, interview and survey whose data collection instruments will be the observation form and the questionnaire, taking into account that it will be of mixed modality, which will be applied to the population and study sample. The population was composed of the physiotherapeutic staff working at the institution and patients suffering from knee arthritis who attend the Babahoyo Gerontological Center 'Buen Vivir' with a total of 46 people, the sample will be selected through a non-probabilistic convenience sampling, that is, those who are willing to participate and go to the research site will participate in the research, approximately 20 people.
