El pie diabético es una patología caracterizada por 3 aspectos clínicos esenciales como son el isquémico, neuropático e infeccioso. Esta afección tiene un alto índice de morbi-mortalidad a nivel mundial debido a que es una de las patologías más comunes. En el desarrollo de este caso clínico se utilizaron referencias bibliográficas para fundamentar las intervenciones, además de emplear tras teorizantes como M. Gordon, NANDA, NIC y NOC que fueron esenciales en el desarrollo del proceso de atención y en las actividades de enfermería.
