Summary:"The inadequacy of rural student training and its impact on academic performance of students in the Educational Unit " Rio Amazonas " enclosure Julio Moreno Espinoza, Province of Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas " addresses the problem of rural education Ecuador can become the beginning of a series of conflicts that prevent the normal development and development of the student, depending on their age. The poverty in the rural population evolves according to (ECLAC ) , coupled with problems such as family disorganization , a social environment with vices , inappropriate educational environment , family customs and traditions and misuse of technology, prevent the student population can reach high levels of academic achievement and triggers bad behavior. Identify the causes that produce the inadequacy of rural student school education and its impact on academic performance is the main objective of making this thesis is based on concepts of inadequacy and performance as an anchor of the variables. The research results reveal that the majority of students come from dysfunctional homes, are represented usually by their mother , are composed of more than four members , surviving on less than a living wage , confess to having been mistreated and perform work outside the home, this among other data which is considered as factors affecting their performance and behavior. The alternative proposal presented as a result of the research conducted is to improve academic performance through joint participation of parents and teachers as required by LOEI in Art. 18 activity is understood as a system of coordinated actions purpose of meeting the educational needs of students with learning disabilities in order to improve the learning process and thus the quality of education. Finally it is recommended that teachers work should be oriented as possible to the student personalized attention in response to individual differences , it is necessary to involve parents in the process of teaching and learning of their children, among other things.
