Čoahkkáigeassu:This research work focused on determining the influence of teaching techniques in the learning of the functioning of the engine parts in the students of the educational unit Dr. Juan Modesto Carbo Noboa, Guayaquil canton, Guayas province, the research was field, the inductive, deductive methods were applied, as a technique the survey and instrument the questionnaire, the same that was applied to teachers and students. For the achievement of this research, contents related to the use of teaching techniques were analyzed, which were based on theories of books and the Internet, the data obtained through the survey was analyzed and interpreted, reaching the conclusion that the Teachers do not use proper teaching techniques to learn how motor parts work. After the study carried out, a manual of teaching techniques was designed to strengthen the learning of the functioning of the engine parts, thus contributing to the academic development of the institution, this contribution has as beneficiaries the students, teachers, parents and in itself to the entire educational community
