| Summary: | Technological innovations introduce changes and improvements in the different stages of mango crop production, identifying innovations such as: diagnosis of the properties of water, soil and plants, use of certified plants, greater plant density, irrigation technology , mechanical pruning, flowering induction, integrated pest and disease management, innovation marketing, creation of new marketing methods based on the needs of the local and international market and promotion of organizational innovation. This research was developed as a non-experimental component of a bibliographic nature, through a technique of analysis, synthesis and summary of the information obtained. From what was previously detailed, it was determined that technological innovation consists of applying rationality to field work, thinking about how to be more efficient and use new technologies to make better decisions; It is about using the multiple tools that technological innovation offers us, whether digital or not, for more intelligent field management. The technological innovations used in mango production are the following: Drones, satellite images, weather station, global positioning systems (GPS), telematics, Internet of Things, soil moisture sensors and built-in sensors. Technological innovations make it possible to reduce production costs, improve the use of resources, contributing to the care of the environment, increasing the economic benefit to mango producers. Technological innovations improve the quality of harvests and optimize mango farms, thanks to permanent, quantitative and qualitative monitoring of the crop. |
