Добавить метку | Итог: | The following is the process of nursing care for a 23-year-old female patient with post-cesarean surgical wound infection in the gynecology area of Guasmo Sur General Hospital. Despite advances in modern obstetrics, post-surgical infection continues to be one of the main causes of morbidity and mortality in obstetric patients, accounting for 15% of maternal deaths worldwide. (Leon, 2011). Because it is a very important issue, nurses must implement biosecurity, asepsis and antisepsis measures and wash their hands before performing the activities that were taught based on the nursing diagnosis and the nursing care process, to provide direct care to the patient, in order to reduce the percentage of pathogenic microorganisms when performing a sterile wound cleansing. This ensures the best care and attention to the patient. |
