Sumari:The development of the research carried out in the Arcadio Soto Santana Educational Unit of the city of Vinces, shows that one of the weaknesses that occur in 11-year-old schoolchildren is the weak knowledge and execution of adequate eating habits that allow them to develop an optimal nutritional status according to age and size, since at present a food intake characterized by a frequency of healthy foods is not prioritized, a negative context that usually indicates that children who are in a stage prior to the beginning of adolescence they do not have adequate nutrition, which is why there is an interest in carrying out this research, which presents a quantitative approach, because all the information obtained through percentage indicators is processed. The research methodology developed in the research process is made up of the deductive, analytical and descriptive methods, accompanied by a field and descriptive research, which together with the support of the investigative techniques and instruments allow obtaining accurate data regarding the analysis of the subject analyzed. The results of the research show that, although the majority of the population studied has a normal imc, height and weight, there will always be a person who does not have adequate anthropometric measures, since, of the population studied, if problems were detected Nutritional of certain students in the educational institution.
