Gaia:The impact of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) on the teaching-learning process in early education has been a topic of growing interest in the contemporary educational context. This study focuses on analyzing this impact in the "Quintiliano Sánchez Rendón" Educational Unit of the Buena Fe canton, Ecuador. Although ICT has revolutionized education by offering flexibility and innovative resources, its effective integration presents challenges. Lack of teacher training, limited technological infrastructure, and resistance to change are common obstacles. A mixed approach was adopted for the research, combining quantitative and qualitative analyses. The sample includes students and teachers of the initial level II of the educational unit. Techniques such as observation, documentary collection and surveys were used to collect data. The results are expected to provide a deeper understanding of the current situation and guide towards improving the integration of ICT in early education. This study seeks to identify obstacles, evaluate teacher training, determine the availability of technological resources and examine the perception of students and teachers about the impact of ICT in the educational process. It is expected that the conclusions will contribute to promoting policies and programs that favor the significant integration of ICT in early education, thus reducing digital gaps and improving educational quality.
