Child abuse is a disease social and international is present in all sectors and social classes; is produced by multicausal, interacting factors and different intensities and times affecting the development harmonic, full and suitable for a minor, committing its education and as a result their development school with disturbances which lay in risk their socialization and therefore, its conformation and later staff professional and social . It is usual then that, in the absence of a solution chord to the emergency or need raised, aid arrives on the part of non-governmental organizations, foundations, still dependent on government agencies and independent professionals but engaged in particular, or worse, than this help form not never come. Therefore, this research work aims to determine the way in which infers the maltreatment in the socio-emotional development in children 4 - 5 years of age. For this, child abuse prevention alternatives are promoted and thus to improve the development of children's socialemotional. Therefore, this work is invaluable for teachers, since the contents, will allow them to have a better understanding of this problem and thus be able to prevent it.
