A series of tables was applied to demonstrate the differences between the items that should have been collected against those of the gender treasury, and to demonstrate the existing variations and try to explain why.Resumen El presente escrito se centra en el estudio sobre la capacidad que posee la Empresa Pública Municipal de Mercados, Centros Comerciales y Bahía del Cantón Babahoyo conseguir los ingresos estimados por concepto de alquiler de espacios físicos y permanentes en los distintos mercados de Babahoyo, para cubrir sus gastos de operación y mantenimiento de los mercados. Se realizó un estudio para identificar los factores y condiciones que dan lugar a que MECECOB-EPB no pueda cumplir con la recaudación presupuestada para un periodo, afectando su situación financiera y provocando problemas de liquidez a la institución.
