Summary:This clinical case deals with the physical therapy treatment of a 70-year-old patient with chronic low back pain, a condition that severely affects her quality of life and functional performance. The patient suffered from persistent low back pain that occasionally radiated to the right hip, limiting her ability to perform daily activities and affecting her overall well-being. In order to prevent relapses, we taught her pain management techniques and the importance of good posture and performed exercises at home. Through ongoing follow-up care, treatment could be adapted to the patient's changing needs, thus achieving sustainable results. This case report demonstrates the efficacy of a comprehensive physical therapy approach in the treatment of chronic low back pain in the elderly and highlights the importance of personalized treatment that addresses both physical symptoms and psychosocial factors. Treatment also focused on preventing relapses by teaching pain management techniques and the importance of good posture and performing exercises at home. Through continuous follow-up care, the treatment could be adapted to the patient's changing needs, thus achieving sustainable results. This case report demonstrates the efficacy of a comprehensive physical therapy approach in the treatment of chronic low back pain in the elderly and highlights the importance of personalized treatment that addresses both physical symptoms and psychosocial factors. The procedure resulted in a significant improvement in the patient's quality of life by reducing pain and restoring her functionality, allowing her to return to her daily activities with greater comfort and confidence.
