Summary:According to the World Health Organization, postpartum hemorrhages are one of the main emergencies in obstetric health, with a maternal-fetal mortality rate of 30 to 50%. Considering the most outstanding risk factors such as maternal age, chronic diseases, anemia, among others. In the present case, it occurred in a 28-year-old patient with a fetal orbit of approximately 12 hours, with a clinical picture of anemia, she subsequently underwent surgical interventions that led to presenting a picture of bleeding, combined with hypovolemic shock that unfortunately ended with the death of the patient. It is necessary to highlight the importance of applying a freckled nursing care in a timely manner to avoid complications that could aggravate the clinical case.
