Zusammenfassung:The purpose of this case study is to analyze anxiety and its impact on school performance, the study of the triggers that cause a student to become vulnerable to different situations. In theory, it can be verified that anxiety negatively affects a student's life. In applied techniques, the level of anxiety of a teenage student who is going through processes of changes that can be hormonal can also be verified, in this study it was possible to verify as a final diagnosis in the Hamilton test the result of generalized anxiety coded in ICD 10 with F41.1, in which it can be seen that his symptoms depended on various situations in his daily life such as classes, family. Finally, this is a complex issue that is little researched but of great importance where different analyzes of academic performance should be done from different points of view. It is recommended that this case study be further analyzed as it is broad and complex, developing and applying the other techniques that exist to reduce the level of anxiety in many students
