SUMMARY The present research was carried out in the "San Antonio" estate located in the Canton Pueblo viejo, province of Los Ríos with geographic coordinates of south latitude 1'33'00 "and 79 ° 32'02" latitude west. The purpose of this research was to determine the phytosanitary control with several fungicides in the cultivation of cocoa on the problems that affect its production in the area of Pueblo Viejo. As genetic material, an established CCN-51 cocoa plantation of 8 years of age was used, Three groups of fungicides were evaluated: green cupravit, micronized sulfur and Bravo, distributed in 4 treatments with 3 replicates, in a randomized complete blocks design. For the analysis of the means, the test of tukey was executed at 5% probability. Fungicide applications were carried out at 15, 30 and 45 days after the establishment of the test. The management of the trial consisted in the execution of cultural tasks for proper plant development, including weed control, fertilization, pruning, phytosanitary control, irrigation, harvesting, fermentation and drying. The number of healthy and diseased fruits was evaluated at the time of harvest, and other variables of interest were evaluated, such as ear length, ear diameter, flowering, fruiting, fresh weight of almonds, yield and economic analysis. The results obtained allowed to determine that the application of the Clorotalonil fungicide in doses of 750 cc / ha, obtained the best results in terms of yield per hectare and greater number of healthy ears in the cultivation of cacao. The highest values of fructification were presented in the treatments applied with the fungicide Clorotalonil in doses of 750 cc / ha. The greatest economic benefit was obtained with the applications of the fungicide Clorotalonil in doses of 750 cc / ha and Oxicloruro de cobre in doses of 1kg / ha. |
