En este sentido las estrategias de enseñanza-aprendizaje utilizadas por los docentes en el aula, constituyen las herramientas fundamentales del trabajo docente, por esta razón el Aprendizaje Colaborativo aparece como la estrategia ideal altamente participativa, que implica el desarrollo de habilidades y destrezas por parte de los participantes, para aumentar sus conocimiento y habilidades, siendo ellos los protagonistas de su propio desarrollo y progreso. Esta estrategia de trabajo colaborativo provee al estudiante de habilidades que le permiten interactuar con sus pares, a la vez que le proporcionan destrezas para construir, descubrir, transformar y acrecentar los contenidos conceptuales y le permiten desarrollar desempeños auténticos en la vida diaria.
